Acoustic Revive

In case this is your first encounter with the Acoustic Revive audio accessories, let me tell you more about Acoustic Revive's history and philosophy.

Acoustic Revive was founded in Japan in 1997 by Mr. Ken Ishiguro, the design genius behind the innovative and ultra-quality Acoustic Revive products.

Like many of us HiFi enthusiasts, Ken-san's interest in audio arose through his lifelong passion for listening to music with his audio systems. Like many of us, during his audio journey he bought audio accessories to improve the performance of his audio systems.

Ken-san said his original interest in audio accessories blossomed over time: "I became very interested in audio accessories that improved the natural qualities of the music, and have been using them now for more than thirty years. I have tried all of the audio accessories I could find from around the world."

Ken-san's interest in audio accessories led him to start Acoustic Revive during a business downturn for the company he had become president of, Sekiguchi Machine Sales.

Ken-san decided to sell the RD-1 demagnetizer he had been making as a hobby, as his first commercial product.

Note from Jeff: The more recent RD-3 version of the demagnetizer is shown below. If you listen to a lot of CDs like I do, these demagnetizers can be invaluable. When a CD player can't read a disc, a quick cleaning with Shine-Ola, and a demagnetization will normally fix it.

Since 1997 Ken-san has been able to offer new products every year, and his Acoustic Revive products have been very well received by audio hobbyists, recording studios, and musicians.

Ken-san has numerous home systems, and owns a retail audio store called Audio and Visual Space PROGIC, where he tests his Acoustic Revive designs in diverse audio and video systems to ensure they work well across a wide variety of equipment.

Ken-san's goal is to reproduce the sound from the recording media without adding any artifice, "so that it sounds natural and not as though it is being played back over an electrical device. Only by listening to natural sound without electronic artifice can you hear what the artists intended."

Acoustic Revive products have been very well received by audio enthusiasts, and since their introduction in 1997 Acoustic Revive products have received several hundred performance awards from audio and recording arts journals around the world.

Acoustic Revive products are enjoying increasing popularity in the pro audio sector, with musicians, studios, and concert venues utilizing them to enhance performance.
