Buffalo, NY, November 17, 2020---- Bluebird Music, distributor of high-performance audio products since 2000, is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the Weiss DAC501.
Weiss products are precision-built in Switzerland to the most rigorous professional standards, The DAC501 is a compact, half-width unit, allowing placement flexibility in desktop and studio applications, as well as in home systems of any size. Its circuitry and componentry are identical to those of the full-sized Weiss DAC502, which was recently the subject of a rave Stereophile review by John Atkinson.
Aside from its smaller enclosure, the DAC501 deletes the four-pin balanced headphone connector found on the back of the DAC502---and costs $1000 less. DAC501 US retail pricing is $8,995, compared to DAC502 US retail pricing of $9,995. ($11,995 / $13,495 Canadian)
“The Weiss DACs produce spectacular, three-dimensional sound, the best I’ve ever heard in my home system,” said Jay Rein, President of Bluebird Music. “That sound quality is worth every penny of $9,995---but being able to get that dynamic sound at a substantially lower price makes the DAC501 an incredible value---a real steal.”
The DAC501 comes complete with a full-function remote control, and can also be operated by a web interface. Silver- or black-finish units are available for immediate shipment from Bluebird Music’s warehouses.
