WAM Engineering LLC Announces the Re-Launch of the Award-Winning WallyTractor Universal and WallyTools Analog Setup Tools
Santa Rosa, CA, USA— 4/23/2020 — WAM Engineering LLC announced immediate availability of the next generation WallyTractor Universal, the most accurate cartridge alignment protractor on the market and the first of several WallyTools turntable setup tools to be re-launched in 2020.

A History of Innovation
Over the years, WallyTools introduced several products that were first-of-a-kind including:
- WallyTractor - a mirrored arc cartridge alignment protractor that is specific to the owner’s tonearm geometry
- WallySkater - the only tool of its type for measuring anti-skating and the frictional quality of tonearm bearings
- WallyVTA - the only tool of its type to allow users to set the cartridge to its perfect level point and find the ideal stylus rake angle for the user’s own cartridge quickly
- WallyScale - the first product of its type to take vertical tracking force readings at the level of the record surface
- WallyAnalog Shop – the first product allowing users to electronically measure for perfect stylus azimuth
These products are now being re-introduced with enhancements designed to make their use simpler without sacrificing any of the accuracy they have always been known for. The currently available WallyTractor Universal is now made with a second set of arcs that owners of “newer record collections” can use to achieve the same low tracing distortion characteristics of typical 12” tonearms with a 9” arm. The next generation WallyTractor Universal is available now at www.wallyanalog.com and the other WallyTools will be available later in 2020.

Founded in the mid 1990’s by Wally Malewicz, WAM Engineering/WallyTools received many industry awards starting with Stereophile’s Accessory of the Year Award in 2002. WallyTools faced a bleak future when Wally passed away in 2018. The company has been re-formed in 2019 by Wally’s former production assistant and Wally’s son, Andrzej who, like his father, is a highly accomplished mechanical engineer.
