Following the successful press launch of the North Collection earlier this month, MOON will demonstrate two models from the new range at the HIGH END in Munich next week.
Visitors are in for a treat as the journalists who received an exclusive preview described the North Collection as “high-end hi-fi heaven” with “buttery smooth remote control”, it “redefines the high-end” and “ushers in a whole new level of awesome”.
At the show, MOON will present a system comprising a 791 Network Player / Preamplifier and a 761 Power Amplifier. The 791 combines a high-performance streamer (built on the new MDE2 digital engine) and an exceptional phono stage in a state-of-the-art analog preamplifier with a brilliant new colour display for album cover art, track details, and set-up functions. Its abundance of features is surpassed only by its unmatched build and sound qualities. The 761 effortlessly delivers delicate audio signals with authoritative finesse and transparency thanks to an innovative MDCA (MOON Distortion-Cancelling Amplifier) circuit, which reduces distortion and coloration without the use of global feedback, to previously unattainable levels. The 791 and 761 are a natural pairing and provide a versatile user experience with audio performance to rival the best systems in the world .
The North Collection features handcrafted surface details and stunning curved vertical heatsinks, a unique industrial design that improves performance. The MOON BRM-1, a new intelligent remote control, unifies the complete MOON ecosystem together with its luxurious volume knob, innovative touch controls, visual feedback, and lavish refinement.
