The audio show in Vienna's ACV builds anticipation for the HIGH END Vienna 2026
The FINEST AUDIO SHOW Vienna 2024 on November 23 and 24, was a resounding success for exhibitors, visitors and the organiser, and for the second staging in a row at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV) proved to be a popular trade show event. Some 4,000 visitors, in an upbeat ambiance, experienced sound and audio equipment at its finest. In this, the Austrian audio show, staged by the HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH, presented a taste of what's to come: the first HIGH END Vienna two years from now.
International flair in Austria's city of music
More than 50 companies from Austria, Germany and neighbouring countries exhibited at the audio show to showcase their innovations and to generate excitement for their products among music and tech enthusiasts. For two days in the attractive facilities of the ACV, the companies showcased their high-end devices for the music pleasure of a sophisticated audience. On display was an impressive portfolio of established and innovative audio equipment involving over 300 brands. In addition to well-known premium manufacturers, some smaller labels also made a big splash. By all accounts, exhibitors were thoroughly satisfied with the running of the trade show, which featured well-attended demonstrations, promising sales discussions and product consultations. The professional organisation, along with the modern and expansive exhibition spaces in the Austria Center Vienna, were particularly appreciated. Not to mention the central location of the recently renovated event center, offering optimal conditions for the trade show and providing for a smooth-running event.
Successful test run for the first HIGH END to be held in Vienna
Stefan Dreischärf, Managing Director of the HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH, weighed in on the success of the event especially with respect to the HIGH END international audio show, which is moving from Munich to Vienna in 2026. "After the successful launch of the FINEST AUDIO SHOW Vienna last year, we are pleased that the Austria Center Vienna has once again proved itself as the ideal platform for our trade shows", said the man behind the event. "For us, this trade show was also a test run for the HIGH END, which showed that the conditions in the ACV are ideally suited to meet our requirements, and as in the past in Munich, we have a professional partner here at our side.”
Last weekend, not only the companies participating in the FINEST AUDIO SHOW Vienna were able to see first-hand the advantages of the location. Several long-standing exhibitors at the HIGH END also flocked to the event from Austria and abroad to visit the Austria Center Vienna and to plan their trade show appearance at the first HIGH END Vienna in two years' time.
An enthusiastic mood and positive signs for the future
The favourable visitor statistics and the high level of satisfaction reflect the unabated interest in high-quality music reproduction and in trade show events with hands-on flair. Visitors were thrilled by the numerous demonstrations, allowing them to enjoy loudspeakers, amplifiers and streaming devices in a side-by-side comparison. Consistently high visitor traffic and an action-packed special events program with workshops and presentations created an atmosphere in which audiophiles and music lovers alike got what they came for throughout the entire weekend.Another positive development emerged in terms of the visitor profile: In addition to well-known hi-fi enthusiasts and audiophiles, the trade show attracted many young people, couples and families. A trend that underscores not only the variety but also the appeal of the products on display, further enhancing the organiser's aim of opening up audio technology to a wider audience.
