Rekkord M600 Reference Turntable

Now Available in North America

M600 Manual Turntable is an Aesthetically and Sonically Superior Model at its Price

Nesconset, NY, March 1, 2024 -- REKKORD Audio, the company whose extensive selection of turntables is meticulously designed and handmade in one of Europe’s foremost audio manufacturing facilities, today announced the availability of the top-of-the-line M600 manual turntable in North America.

Built into a massive wooden chassis that is an aesthetic fit in any room, the REKKORD M600 (MSRP: $1,499 matte black, $1,699 gloss black; cartridge sold separately) is a proper audiophile-grade three-speed turntable that is equipped with a custom-designed 8.6” aluminum tonearm specially designed for this specific model. The height-adjustable arm features a four-way ball cardan bearing made of solid aluminum blocks and a massless tracking force adjustment. (This dynamic system for applying downforce maintains a consistent vertical tracking force on the stylus.)

The 5.6 lb aluminum platter is precisely billet machined with a 10 mm groove holding energy-absorbing thermoplastic (TPE) elastomers to minimize resonances. The platter sits on a brass bearing paired with a Teflon bearing mirror for exceptionally smooth running and durability.

“The REKKORD M600 is the reference model,” says Roy Feldstein, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) VANA Ltd., exclusive North American importer of REKKORD turntables. “It epitomizes REKKORD’s commitment to designing, manufacturing, and marketing turntables that offer outstanding performance and value that outshine anything else at their price points.”

The M600 is available with an optional Ortofon Quintet Red moving coil cartridge (MSRP $399) that features an elliptical diamond, which is cut and polished to Ortofon's standards.
