Innuos Pulsar Network Music Player to be Featured at High End Munich

...with new version 2.4 of the innuOS Operating System

Faro, Portugal 17 May, 2023

Fresh from its debut in North America last month, PULSAR is the newest Innuos PULSE series network music player and will be heard on the world stage at High End Munich in Atrium 4.1 – E125 from 18 - 21 May 2023. The event takes place at the MOC Event Center Messe in Munich, Germany. Innuos will also be demonstrating its flagship STATEMENT music server/streamer with Next-Gen Power Supply alongside the PULSE network music player and PhoenixNET audiophile-grade network switch.

The PULSE Series of Network Music Players consists of three models: PULSEmini, PULSE and PULSAR, that are perfect for music lovers who mostly want to play music from HiFi streaming services like Qobuz and TIDAL, or who just want another zone in their home connected to their main music server.

PULSAR has beneath its sleek exterior a custom ARC6 module with active rectification, over 130000 µF of Mundorf capacitors, a large inductor and a massive 300VA audio-grade toroidal transformer. Its optimized USB output even incorporates a PhoenixUSB Lite Reclocker. Three independent power rails are incorporated, one each for the Main Board, SSD and Reclocker with a custom CX Regulator Module for a smooth yet fast and detailed sound.

Innuos sources will be running the new InnuOS 2.4 Operating System, which features integrated support for the Highresaudio (HRA) streaming service - a high-resolution music download service that offers only uncompressed music downloads in its highest possible quality level (sampling rate). The new OS also includes multi-album selection to play a mix, add to queue, play next, add to playlist, set as compilation, and set as multiformat. It can also merge artists, filter selected artists by genre and even splits album tracks. Details about all the new features in innuOS 2.4 can be found on the Innsights Blog.

The featured system in Atrium 4.1 – E125 includes the Innuos PhoenixNET audiophile-grade network switch connected to the Innuos PULSAR, PULSE and STATEMENT. A dCS Rossini APEX DAC and a Pilium Ares Preamp paired with their Achilles Amplifier will drive a pair of Estelon X Diamond Mk II speakers that render the music for visitors. Power conditioning will be handled by the Isotek EVO3 Super Titan and Super Nova. Cables will be from Kubala-Sosna, while an Artesania Audio Exoteryc ER33 rack and Aire floor platform will host all the components.

Visitors will be able to hear music chosen using the Innuos Sense app, played directly from the STATEMENT’s internal SSD or streamed direct from Qobuz on this remarkable HiFi system. PULSAR and PULSE A/B demonstrations will also be possible.

Innuos products can also be heard at partner rooms at the show including Oswalds Mill, Inc. (K2a), Wilson Benesh (Atrium 4.2 – E225), Elite Audio Distribution (Hall 2, F04), Verlags – Gmbh (Hall 3, N01a), Meze Audio (Hall1, C04) and YG Acoustics (Atrium 4.2, E218).

Eight key members of the Innuos team from sales, marketing and executive staff will be at the show to take questions and demonstrate.
