LOS ANGELES, CA (TUESDAY OCTOBER 21, 2025) – Today Independent Project Records (IPR) announce more additions to their two-night 45th anniversary celebration taking place on Wednesday, November 5 and Thursday, November 6 in Los Angeles at Gold-Diggers in Hollywood.
Two documentary film screenings related to IPR will be offered prior to the venue’s doors opening on both nights at no extra cost to ticket buyers, Afterimage founding member Daniel Voznick will be performing a solo set on Wednesday night, post punk/goth band Kommunity FK will play an additional set on Thursday, and noted producer, moderator and IPR fanatic Adam Weissler will host both evenings. Beloved Los Angeles radio station KCRW will be presenting the shows. To round out both nights’ festivities, visual presentations, music videos from IPR bands, artwork, related films, and more will be on display throughout the venue. The film screenings of the documentaries Louder Than You Think and Desolation Center will be shown on the Gold-Diggers campus in the studio rehearsal space. Louder Than You Think producer Jeffrey Clark (Shiva Burlesque & IPR co-owner) will be on hand Wednesday November 5 to take part in a Q&A with host Adam Weissler. On Thursday November 6, Desolation Center filmmakers Stuart Swezey and Mariska Leyssius, along with IPR founder Bruce Licher (Savage Republic, Scenic), will also join Weissler for a post-screening Q&A.

Everyone who buys a ticket to the 45th Anniversary event will receive a brand new, limited edition 7” vinyl single with previously unreleased music along with an IPR 45th anniversary-themed 45 RPM adapter. Copies of IPR's upcoming two-CD label sampler, The Well, will be available for purchase several weeks before street date along with other IPR merchandise. Fans buying the deluxe version of the two-day package will receive three extremely limited edition test pressings of recent IPR vinyl (never previously available to the public), along with a complimentary copy of The Well and other goodies.
Known for their unique musical sensibilities and extraordinary artwork & design, Independent Project Records is a favorite of record collectors and music fans alike for their bespoke packaging and attention to detail. Grammy-nominated founder Bruce Licher’s graphic design and his hand-letterpress packaging have been a mainstay in music circles since 1982’s Tragic Figures from Savage Republic.
