Inspired by their rich 43 year history, Rega, with assistance of gracious contributors and authors, compiled this limited edition labor of love and pride, artfully delivering a treasure of information and personal insight into Rega's history with a peek into the future.

International Award Winning Rega Research, founded in the UK and based in Essex, continues to flourish under the direction of original co-founder, Roy Gandy, the 'RG' in Rega. Today, distributing to more than 40 export markets, Rega crafts an average of 2,000 turntables per month along with their award winning DAC's, Phono Stages, and Loudspeakers. Employing nearly 90 highly trained engineers and craftspeople, Rega is a testament to their dedication and quality to both their employees and the exceptional product they meticulously engineer and build.

A project that took nearly 5 years to complete, "A Vibration Measuring Machine" is comprised of over 300 pages of growth, innovation, research, personal comments and photographs. This limited edition book celebrating Rega's history is a compilation of the past 45 years divided into 3 sections:

Paul Messenger, a veteran audiophile, his journalist resume includes Editor of Hi-Fi News & Record Review, Hi-Fi Choice and HiFiCritic.com as well as a contributing editor to Stereophile.

Bill Philpot, a veteran of the London advertising industry, heads the design, graphics and illustration. Bill has been in the London Advertising industry for several years before venturing to his own design and illustration career. Bill also designed the original Rega logo which remains little changed.
