--Fifth-Generation Antileon Power Amplifier Debuts at CAF --
Rockville, MD—November 14, 2025: Gryphon Audio Designs, designer and manufacturer of The World’s Finest Audio Systems, returns to the Democracy Room at 2025 Capitol Audiofest. This year Gryphon, courtesy of legendary dealer Command Performance, Falls Church, VA, will host the North American Show Premiere of The Gryphon Antileon Revelation, Gryphon’s highly anticipated successor to Antileon EVO. First shown in1991 as the DM-100, this amplifier established the DNA of all future Gryphon Power Amplifiers: Dual Mono design, pure Class A Circuit Topology, massively Oversized Power Supplies, High-Current Output and the ability to drive virtually any loudspeaker to its ultimate potential. Now, in honor of Gryphon’s 40th Anniversary, Antileon Revelation makes its North American debut at Capitol Audiofest 2025.
Since its introduction, Antileon has been the heart of the Gryphon product line. The Antileon Series have consistently been the company’s best-selling power amplifiers. Honoring the 30th year of the Antileon marque and the 40th Anniversary of Gryphon ApS, Revelation is the finest and most relentlessly refined amplifier ever to carry the Antileon name. Much of the EVO’s intricate metalwork has been retained for the new model with a large Gryphon as relief casting now crowning the transformer cover. Back panel connections have been upgraded with Gryphon’s latest, bespoke binding posts, while a pair of 20-amp AC connectors offer an improved power pathway to Revelation’s Dual-Mono topology. Inside, each chassis is outfitted with 40 High-Current Bipolar Toshiba Output transistors—identical to those used in Gryphon’s Flagship Apex—and 335,000 uF of power supply capacitance per channel, or 670,000 uF per chassis. A pair of discrete, custom-made 1150VA Toroidal Transformers are fitted to each chassis while a third, independent power supply is dedicated to digital control circuitry. As with all Gryphon Power Amplifiers, both Stereo (165 WPC) and Mono (180 WPC) versions are available. Sonically, Revelation advances its predecessors’ considerable strengths, boasting subterranean, pitch-perfect bass, more extended and airy trebles and the grainless, palpable, three-dimensional midrange that only pure Class A output circuitry can deliver. Antileon Revelation is now shipping with an MSRP of $49,800 USD per chassis. Gryphon’s Essence Preamplifier ($21,500) and PowerZone 3.10 Power Optimizer ($15,700) will also be featured.
