BRINKMANN DEBUTS TraNt POWER SUPPLY AT AXPONA

TraNt Power Supply and Pi Join Taurus and 12.1 in Dynaudio Suite

Schaumberg, IL—April 12, 2024: Brinkmann Audio is proud to announce the North American debut of the new TraNt Power Supply and the return of our legendary Pi Phono Cartridge, starting today at AXPONA. Once again, Brinkmann will be in the Dynaudio Suite, Utopia D. This year, we’ll be spinning our legendary Taurus Turntable and 12.1 Tonearm with the new TraNt Power Supply and the latest version of our Pi Phono Cartridge.

Slotting-in between the RoNt III and Performance Power Supply, TraNt was developed for customers who want to approach the performance of RoNt III at a lower cost and with semiconductor convenience. RöNt III technology is used, creating a more affordable, compact, and hassle-free product. Compared to the Performance Power Supply that comes standard with all Brinkmann ‘tables, TraNt improves performance with any Brinkmann turntable but is especially effective with our direct drive Taurus and Bardo models. TraNt is shipping now at a US MSRP of $3,490

Brinkmann’s most popular cartridge is making a comeback. OEM supplier Benz is building a batch of 50 pieces for Brinkmann. (Benz provides coil assemblies and production services for what is otherwise a uniquely Brinkmann cartridge.) Price increases will be necessary but we expect the 50-piece production run to sell out quickly. Pi is shipping at a US MSRP of $4,490

Dr. Matthias Lueck, Partner, Brinkmann Audio GmbH will be spinning records (including the NEW Low-Swing Records release of “Fink—The Low-Swing Sessions”) as well as discussing the Taurus/12.1/TraNt/Pi system and all things Brinkmann. Thanks once again to Dynaudio for their gracious hospitality and generosity!
