At the upcoming California Audio Show 2024, Audience will be showcasing its ClairAudient 1+1 V5 Personal Reference Monitor loudspeakers and a range of other products in Room 2011 at the Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge, Emeryville, CA from July 19 – 21, 2024.

Audience’s engineer Phil Ducote and Dan Rosca of Buena Park, CA dealer DR Consulting will be on hand to demonstrate the ClairAudient 1+1 V5 speakers.

In addition, Phil Ducote will be hosting a session and Q&A on loudspeaker design on Saturday, July 20 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in the hotel’s Silver Ballroom.

The Audience 1+1 V5 speakers will be used with an ultra-high-end system that will include Audience’s top-of-the-line frontRow cables and powerChords, the Audience adeptResponse aR6-T4 power conditioner, an Atma-Sphere MP-3 Mk3.3 vacuum tube preamplifier and Atma-Sphere Class D mono power amps, a Sony UBP-X1100 ES disc player, and an MSB The Analog DAC.

The ClairAudient 1+1 V5 is the latest evolution of Audience’s acclaimed loudspeaker, a bi-pole design that is compact, yet delivers expansive sound. The 1+1 V5 offers improved baffle-step reduction technology and a host of refinements including better passive radiators, voice coil wire, binding posts and more.

The 1+1 V5 features two proprietary full-range drivers in a crossover-less design, along with two side-firing passive radiators. It’s striking in appearance, with a high-gloss black multi-angled enclosure accented by rosewood sides. The sound is exceptionally coherent and natural, with volume and bass performance that bely the speaker’s modest size.
