Company announces high-power Roon Server that offers heavy-duty DSP processing
Toronto ON - exaSound Audio Design, manufacturer of innovative, exceptional fidelity audio products, has just released the Delta Music Server. It premiered at the Florida Audio Expo, February 7-9, 2020.
Built around the Intel i9-9900 8-core CPU, the Delta Music Server offers heavy-duty DSP processing and upsampling with Roon for stereo and multichannel applications. Silent, high-performance hardware and exaOS lightweight operating system facilitate streaming to virtually all USB DACs and Roon-supported audio devices. Roon Core delivers intelligent management of music content stored on hard drives, NAS, and from streaming servicesTidal and Qobuz.
UPnP offers bitperfect Hi-Res streaming up to DSD512, PCM 768KHz / 32bit and DXD. Large 7" touchscreen provides quick control and visibility from a distant listening position.
Special integration with exaSound DACs offers flawless user experience and exceptional fidelity. The exaSound Delta can serve a double duty as server and player/renderer when exaSound DAC is attached via USB. Unique asynchronous packet streaming developed by exaSound guarantees that CPU load caused by multiple server tasks does not affect the timing accuracy and precision of local USB playback. With one device audiophiles can have it all - reference-quality music server and top-performance streamer.
In conjunction with Roon Labs, the Delta Music Server seamlessly integrates Roon’s deep functionality with exaSound’s exceptional fidelity. Together, Roon and exaSound deliver the power, flexibility, and performance benefits of digital audio, with the easiest setup and highest reliability available.
Designed and hand-built in Canada, exaSound devices deliver award winning, reference level sonic fidelity. Vanishingly low noise and distortion with highly accurate and extended frequency response form the foundation for natural, dynamic sound and ultimate subjective appreciation.
exaSound’s President George Klissarov focuses on the best user experience possible, providing ease of use while maintaining the company’s high standards. “exaSound is always about exceptional fidelity, offering dynamic music experiences that are true to the artist’s intent. “
