The Odar's larger 14-inch diameter platter has increased overall inertia resulting in outstanding speed stability. The massive bearing has been engineered specifically for this high-mass platter, featuring a unique combination of metals for the lowest possible friction coefficient, resulting in a pitch-black silent playback. Combined with the ultra low-torque motor, that reduces motor-to-platter transfer by over 90%, and is ideally suited to this high-inertia platter assembly.
