Jim Arvanitis, tapped for VP spot, brings RSX high-level executive management experience from Sony USA, Kenwood USA, and KRK Systems, Inc.
Rancho Cucamonga, California — Roger Skoff, CEO of RSX Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Arvanitis as Vice President of the company. Arvanitis has decades of International and National sales and marketing experience in consumer electronics on the wholesale and retail sides of the industry. He also has a high level of experience in product marketing, product development and product management experience across a broad base of products.
“I’ve known Jim for over 25 years,” stated Skoff, “and have always acknowledged him to be someone who loves taking on new challenges. His creative solutions, industry experience, knowledge, commitment, and overall energy have always translated into success. Some ten years ago, Arvanitis took an early retirement package from Sony USA. Since that time he has worked with a number of companies – one of the latest being a manufacturer of plastic products – but he always knew that his passion for music and high-end audio equipment would eventually lead him back to a management role in consumer electronics.
“I was enjoying working with a number of different startups in different industries when Roger told me about his new company,” said Arvanitis. “Roger and I have always talked about working together some day, and the idea of getting back into consumer electronics intrigued me. I was ready for new challenges and thought it would be fun to finally work with Roger, so I agreed to join the company.”
Arvanitis comes from a family of entrepreneurs. He is an accomplished musician, singer, and writer, who has toured with several bands. Music has always been and will continue to be the driving force behind his love of consumer electronics.
Arvanitis is currently managing completion of the last few details of the company’s eCommerce website. “We’re very close to launch right now. We hope to have our site up and running within the next very few days”, he said. “We’re already being approached by domestic dealers, but for a limited introductory period, RSX products will sell directly to audiophiles through our website www.rsxtech.com. RSX has arranged for special pricing to members of selected audio clubs throughout the US. International distribution is currently in the process of being set up”, he continued, “with seventeen distributors in Canada, Europe and Asia already having applied for the product lines.”
