Alta Audio at Rocky Mountain Audio Fest! Showing with Krell and Acoustic Signature

Alta Audio is a loudspeaker company started by veteran designer Mike Levy to build the speakers he always dreamed of. We're pleased to be exhibiting at the 15th Annual Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Room 7021 of the Denver Marriott Tech Center, October 5-7.

Alta will be demonstrating both the Celesta FRM-2 (Full Range Monitor, MSRP $14,999/pair) and the small stand-mounted Io (MSRP $3495/pair), shown above. Celestas provide the dynamic and volume capabilities of a professional monitor in an apartment-friendly size, and are the reference speaker of the prestigious Audiophilia website, as you can read here

The Io (pronounced EYE-oh) is a compact two-way standmount with a 7" woofer and true ribbon tweeter, providing an incredibly spacious soundstage, precise imaging, and startlingly dynamic bass. Listeners' first reaction to the Iois usually, "where's the subwoofer?" Reviews of the Io can be found here and here.

All Alta Audio  loudspeakers utilize the proprietary XTL transmission line loading and DampHard cabinet construction for extended, musical bass response from dead-quiet cabinets.

Alta Audio is proud to be showing in conjunction with Krell Industries and Acoustic Signature. Krell will be debuting the new 300i integrated amplifier (MSRP $8000 as exhibited);  US distributor Fidelis Music Systems will provide a full Acoustic Signature analog system, including turntable, tonearm, cartridge, and phono preamp.

We look forward to meeting with all attendees and members of the media during RMAF:

Friday, October 5th, 10 AM-6 PM (10 AM-Noon, Press only);

Saturday, October 6th, 9 AM-6 PM;

Sunday, October 7th, 10 AM-4 PM.

About Alta Audio: Led by veteran designer Michael Levy, Alta Audio produces heirloom-quality loudspeakers that are as involving and exciting as live music. The company is based in Huntington, New York.
