LA Audio Show 2018 Offers Food for the Mind, Body, and Soul

IRVINE, CA, April 3, 2018 – The LA Audio Show 2018 - Orange County will be a sumptuous feast for Mind, Body, and Soul.  While the Show will feature the finest in high-performance audio gear, it will also offer attendees "food" for the mind, body and soul.  Beginning with a special preview June 7, and running through June 10 at the Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport Hotel the 2018 edition of LAAS will please a variety of palates.

Food for the Mind - Starting on Friday morning, the Show will offer a rich table of seminars designed to challenge, enlighten and educate.  In an encore performance, analog champion and Analog Planet editor, Michael Fremer, will share his thoughts and insights.

The seminar schedule, once again sponsored and organized by The Los Angeles & Orange County Audio Society, is full of fascinating sessions old and new.  Sessions new to this year's Show include a talk by the legendary Bob Carver, and a look at High Performance/Low-Cost audio components with Steve Lefkowicz, of Positive Feedback, among others.

Popular returning sessions include "Legends of High-End Audio," with Bob Harley, editor of The Absolute Sound, and a tour of the "Magic Bus," with Jon Whitledge.  For a complete list of Seminars and times see the LAAS Schedule Page.

Food for the Body - For those wanting to stay close to the hotel, the Show has arranged for a variety of "food trucks" offering a surprisingly mixed menu -- including "made on the truck" homemade pasta from the famous "Prince of Venice."  The area directly surrounding the Show headquarters hotel is filled with restaurants at all price ranges and provides a varied array of food genres.

Food for the Soul - While nourishing the mind and body are important, caring for the soul is no less so.  And music speaks to the soul.  Virtually every exhibitor will be "live," that is playing music of all types and genres that demonstrate the strengths of their products.  In addition, Friday and Saturdayevenings will feature live music.

Friday is "Night of the Bands" with Monette Marino - Mo' Rhythm performing live.  In addition, The Kings of 88  will also be on hand.  And Saturday is "Ladies' Night,"  with performances by Audra Lee among other stellar acts.  And, of course, there is no-extra-charge for the concerts.  It comes with the entry ticket.
