LOS ANGELES — "Sorry, we're sold out," Marine Presson was overheard telling a caller. Although, from the look on the LA Audio Show Director's face, "sorrow" was not the first emotion that crossed her mind.
Ms. Presson was, however, careful to point out to the disappointed caller that while exhibit rooms per se were no longer available there were still avenues of Show participation open. Specifically, she enumerated that some booth and table space was still available and that promotion – through ads in the Show Directory and Show Sponsorship via signage, wraps, posters, coasters and other high visibility items – were still open.
"We want to give manufacturers and others every possibility to be seen and assist in their success in any way we can," she said. "But if our exhibit rooms are an indication, at this point, those who are interested should feel some urgency."
