Black Cat Cable Unveils the Graceline III Wagner Cable, Redefining Premium Audio Performance
CUMMING, GA — August 1, 2026 — Black Cat Cable announces the launch of the Graceline III Wagner cable, the latest addition to the company's premium high-fidelity audio lineup.
Graceline III Wagner is the first new cable to be introduced by Black Cat Cable since Mayu took over the reigns at Black Cat Cables in 2022, marking a new chapter in the history of Black Cat Cable. Following founder Chris Sommovigo's original recipe the Graceline III "Mezame", Wagner is an all-copper adaptation of Mezame's hybrid design that delivers greater bass presence and a wider dynamic range, while preserving the inner details and quietness that Mezame is renowned for.
This cable came to be known as Wagner, as the development of this cable coincided with Mayu's time performing Wagner’s Twilight of the Gods with the Atlanta Opera. Inspired by the dense, powerful and wide registers of Wagner's compositions while balancing the energy of making music with over 100 fellow musicians, Wagner was thus fitting name to personify this new cable's ability to recreate a rich vortex of sound.
