But he has left us with a wealth of great recordings, starting with those of his Concentus Musicus Ensemble, Vienna, which focused on early music, to Mozart, Beethoven, Bruckner & Mahler, with a number of other great orchestras, and so he also left us with many different ways to get repeatedly impressed by his spirit which let him dig a little deeper when it comes to interpretation, flow, musical details - and musical joy.
