Thank you for this. I'm not sure where I'd gotten the impression that Antoni Wit had died, but I was apparently wrong. (Either that, or every site on the Internet is out of date, which seems unlikely.) The error has been corrected -- and I hope you do get Szymanowski performances under Wit in Cleveland!

If true, sad to hear. Having conducted a brilliant Eroica with the Cleveland Orchestra last year, collectors familiar with his Naxos recordings of Polish composers looked forward to re-engagement and possibly a Szymanowski offering with the great orchestra.
