I found the UE Live IEMs to have an incredible amount of upper level detail without being harsh or overly bright. I not only heard sounds on recordings that I’ve never heard before with any other headphones or speakers, but they allowed me to really hear the space between the notes, for example as a singer takes a breath between notes. It is truly amazing and very special. I also really like the use of the dynamic bass driver in the Live IEMs. It’s quick and smooth and has amazing extension. I really preferred it over the armature drivers used in the other models. Overall, as you said, they reproduce music in a wonderful way from top to bottom. Lastly, and even more importantly, the custom molded shells fit my ear canals very comfortably. I can listen with them for hours without any irritation or fatigue.
