24" stand plus approx. 12" to the tweeter (half of the 24 inch height of the speaker) is 36". Is that the height of your ears at your listening position? I get several inches more than that at mine.

Victor, Thanks for the review of the Monitors.... there are a lot of people that would like to buy the Double Impacts but won't or can't because of the size or weight. It sure would be helpful if you would make some comparisons between the DI and the Monitor....what do you gain, what do you give up, are the Monitors with a sub equal to the DIs...please try give us as much insight as possible.

Hey Victor, Excellent review and take on the Impact Monitor Speakers. I reviewed them for hometheaterreview.com and gave them five stars, and purchased them for my smaller reviewing system. I would like to share how important it is to use very high quality stands to get the reference level performance out of the IM's. I experimented with many stands and if the stand was not up to the task, it downed graded the superlative performance of this wonderful speaker. Eric has designed another "killer" speaker that performs way beyond its price point!

I have the Double Impacts and they are everything people and the reviewers said they were and more. They easlily..easily outperform speakers 10 times their cost. And did I say easlily?
Therefore, I am not at all s uprised at this reviewers opinion. He isn't the only one who has rave reviews about the Impact Monitors.
