In my original post, I accidentally inverted the watts and decibels in the efficiency rating figure. It now is and should have been "85 dB/watt", which, in my experience, is a reasonable load to drive with just about any amp or even a receiver. My Magneplanars, on the other hand, are rated at about 80 dB/watt, and are legendarily difficult to drive.

90 and above is what I'd call 'efficient'. 85 is borderline inefficient.
