i don't like the foam/cloth thing around the tweeter though..........it'll fall off eventually and that's a problem

AudioQuest has an interesting paper about bi-wiring, which includes a recommendation for how to wire a bi-wire capable speaker if you are not going to bi-wire it. I once mentioned this article to a friend who is an audio dealer, and he told me that all dealers exhibiting at trade shows wire speakers the way AudioQuest recommends.

]]>The Ryan's are an interesting loudspeaker. I've had the chance to listen to the R630s some more and they are even better; the midrange is warmer, and the bass extends much lower. The R610s are a true gem for only $2,000. I've only heard them with amplifiers under $2,500 and I was very impressed. Almost don't want to try anything else.
