I love my Nordost Heimdall2 headphone cable on my Audezes, Sennheiser HD800s, and, especially on my new MrSpeakers ETHER & ETHER C planar cans! They are indeed something special!!!!

Unfortunately I have a problem with the adapter system:
I, for one (as well as many other Head-FIers) do not like dealing with the weight of two large XLRs plugged into each other, dangling off my personal portable devices or desktop headphone amps, such as my AstellnKern or Questyle DAPS - even the plugs stickin' outta my iDevices bugs me.

So, unfortunately, I only use my Nordost Heimdall2 headphone cables at home - where they get frequent use (especially on my Cavalli Audio LAu - a fully-balanced headphone amp - ideal for the 4-pin XLR Nordost factory termination) - and I would LOVE to see Joe and his team come up with a much lighter and more-portable adapter solution - like Moon-Audio's sleek mini 4-pin XLR adapter system, or Double Helix Cables brilliant 2.5 TRRS balanced - adapter system (allowing me to have a balanced cable at ALL TIMES - plugging directly into my AstellnKern AK240 & AK380 balanced output on-the-go / AND - also providing adapters for 4-pin XLR, 3.5mm stereo, or even balanced RSA, etc...) - this could EASILY put Nordost right alongside front-runners like DHC in the headphone cable arena!!
