I had to wall-mount it which is pretty tricky since it can't have any magnetic metal near it! There is no rigid coupling between the rotating platter and the tonearm pivot. How does this not manifest in unwanted/uncorrelated movement? Even if the platter could rotate with absolutely no motion or vibration, the plinth on which the tonearm is fixed would be affected by airborne and floor vibration. This would seem to suggest lab testing should be done.

Sat, 20 Oct 2018 22:00:00 +0000http://positive-feedback.com/?p=30552#comment-2451I think I would rather have your magnetic drive turntable than one with a HUGE magnetic field which can interfere with pacemakers, demagnetizers (like my Talisman), tapes, etc. The review makes it a great player, potentially worth 5 times it's price in sound quality with physical limitations (magnetism, arm and cartridge restrictions).
