Don't ask me how they do it . Come to think of it , their headphones have that same quality . That's why many say grado has a familiy sound that goes all over their product line . It's this sound where their musicality come from . I would dare to say one thing that I believe is one factor that helps give that quality to their cartridges as I have had over the years some of their products . That would be low grain . I consider grain a type of distortion that is very dificult to completely eliminate . The Grado line have been able to design a product line that maybe if not able to totally eliminate it have got it to a level where it isn't as evident .
