That was the published spec. I generally don't get much into the specs of a product, other than posting what they've published.

The fan was never audible from my seating position (about ten feet away) and I'm not even sure it ever turned on, even during long, loud sessions.

The placement of the AC receptacle never seemed to be an issue even with the largest of my speaker cables (Vermouth Audio Red Velvet). There was zero noise or hum from AC or grounding. I used both the stock AC cord and an older Cardas Twinlink AC cord.

Why is the AC input jack so close to the speaker outputs ?
Is the fan quiet, or noisy like most other fans ?
