1. So, some "other idiot" makes a better power cable that Bryston ignored? I find that very very hard to believe. I believe that Chris Russell and team used the best power cable that the amp needs and everything else is a red herring
2. Bryston "burns in" their amps to make sure that they will last 20 years. Burn in does not make a dime's worth of difference in sound. The only things burned in are the listener's ears (and psyche)
3. Though the measured noise levels are 3 to 4dB below the SST2's, it is humanly impossible to hear the difference
I've been a loyal Bryston customer since 1994, and it is exceptional after-sale service (even 25 years post-sale) that sets them apart from mere mortals
