Another speaker with a Real tweeter that is very interesting are the Philharmonic BMR. They are large 3-way bookshelf speakers The midrange BMR driver has vary uniform dispersion and the large scan speak woofer allows for very deep bass extension. They measure as an incredibly accurate speaker and are available in various custom finishes if you don't like the stock options
]]>One option is mentioned right in this article, Ascend Acoustics Sierra Tower (w/ the RAAL ribbon tweeter option). Well worth an audition.

]]>Thanks much! I know there's a lot out there, but it's helpful to get these suggestions.
]]>Magnepans. Harbeth. Ascend Acoustics. KEF. Vandersteen. Monitor Audio.
I'm sure there's a bunch more I'm forgetting. A lot depends on your room, your listening habits and your other gear.
My favorite over all speaker line is Proac. I'd look into the Studio 118 and SM100 in your price range. My main speakers are Studio 148's and I love them to death.
]]>Thanks for your comment. I'm in the market now for a speaker $2500 or less. Just curious if you have any recommendations to try. Thanks!
