Input impedance is 10K ohm with a top quality Alps pot. The 32 and 600 ohm jacks are the output jacks for your headphones. A choice is given to best match the impedance of your headphones. Since each amp is built to order you can specify impedance taps on the output transformer. For example if you do most of your listening with 300 ohm Sennheiser HD800S headphones you can have your Kenzie built with 32/300 headphone output jacks. Plugging your headphone into the appropriate jack selects that jack, no switches necessary. This is a headphone amp and the only inputs are right and left channel RCA female phono connectors.
]]>It would be helpful to know what the actual inputs are: how many, is there a selector switch, and most important -- the input impedance -- so we can tell if it will be a good match with whatever is feeding the Kenzie.
]]>I'm honored brother, wholeheartedly.
I'm also, at this moment, insanely jealous:
How am I supposed to follow-up this review of the Kenzie with my own??
🙂
I look forward to our conversational piece on this fine headphone amp!
In the meantime: BRAVO!!!!
