Based on the stylus design, I suspect Nagaoka manufactured the body, but I also believe LP Gear selected the tip design for each model. I highly recommend this cartridge for new owners of turntables who are stuck with the junk cartridge provided. You would have to spend much more money to improve the sound. Ensure you have a installation tool (usually under $20) to ensure the cartridge is in the correct position.
