Wonderful story, reckoned we could combine a number of unrelated information, nonetheless really really worth taking a search, whoa did one particular understand about Mid East has got far more problerms as well.
]]>In other words, I have not encountered a speaker that does so well in small spaces. But that's not the best way to explore the ART's ability. In a much larger room, an 18' by 24' room in another house, the ARTs still sounded amazing--or, as we ART fans like to say, they are small but have a GIANT heart. In addition, the ARTs continue to bloom as your amplification becomes better. I've used $30K worth of amplification on the ARTs and still felt the ARTs had room to excel further. The US distributor, Bob Clarke of Profundo, likes to pair them with the expensive, relatively low-powered tube amplification from VivA. Unbelievable combination! Bob also represents Heed Audio and pairs them with the ARTs at trade shows--again, this sounds like a system that costs many times more.
It's crazy that more people in the US don't know more about Trenner & Friedl and their incredibly musical products. The top of the line Dukes may be the greatest speakers I've ever heard, bar none. The ARTs are perhaps my favorite two-way standmounts. Set them up in a room correctly, and they'll astonish. I've had many other people who have come to my house to listen to them--one person ran out and bought a pair immediately, and another keeps emailing me to say he's still saving up for them. I've been listening to T&F's Sun, which is even tinier and can be picked up with one hand. Still, they amaze. Both the ARTs and the Suns prove that bigger is not necessarily better--you can accomplish amazing things as long as you have a brilliant design, and Trenner & Friedl speakers are as brilliant as it gets in my humble opinion.
