You make the claim that XRCDs are worth the added expense because they deliver better fidelity than a standard CD. I would ask if the "enhancement" of the sound transfers from an XRCD to a hard drive or SSD copy when you rip the disc? My problem stems from the fact that I've done rigorous data and listening comparisons between a new CD and an XRCD of the same album and they provide precisely the same data to the DAC. If you have a great DAC and the clock is being properly handled then how can any audible change occur? We only have the bits and the timing to deal with, right?
