Yes those were the days when a University has 2-3 record shops inside a uni campus. Good old days.

I was immediately smittened by the music and bought the record, and have not since stopped listening to it for an extended period of time. Like Jacqueline Du Pre's Elgar, to me Glenn Gould has made all other performances of the Goldberg piece seem less relevant.

I don't think John Mark has mentioned it but this is Glenn Gould's second performance of the piece since 1962, and this is has last record performance. He is a true Canadian icon and a lifelong interpreter/worshipper of Bach.
