In reply to Rushton. Thanks for your kind comments, Rush. I have always believed that due praise, properly given, was an important way to encourage further excellence. Where would we be without the fine companies mentioned, who produce so much of our great music? And why should they not receive plaudits for the hard work that goes into every year's efforts? As to the Web transition: it cost me a bottle or two of aspirin, but we seem to be across the Rubicon. The tale of this major effort would require a fine cigar, a glass or two of Port, and some "quality time" to go over. Web publishing at a larger scale is a major enterprise, and the IT and programming issues can be quite daunting. I'm glad to see the back end of that transition...I hope!

Wow! What a sterling conclusion to this year's Brutus Awards. It is great to see you recognizing so many of the people who are making wonderful music available to us in superb sound quality. It is recognition they all well deserve. My listening room has been graced with the delights of many of these recordings and I just couldn't be more pleased to see your recognition here. The music they provide are treasures.

And, congratulations on the web server migration. As a simple consumer of the information you publish, I can only say that I never noticed a hiccup over this transition and the site seems to be performing exceptionally well! Congrats to you and your entire team for work well done.
