I was able to get one of the first Woodys, a 9" model on my Rek-o-kut B-12GH. Instead of replacing a more expensive arm, I had been using a rewired Rega RB300. The upgrade was immediately noticeable, great body and tone, strong dynamics, fast pacing, and a much more musical sound. Using a wood-bodied Denon 103R on it, I'm now a big fan of wood in tonearms and cartridges. Pete Riggle has designed a great tonearm, and while it may not have the sleek look of some of the higher-priced ones I hear at shows, I agree that it's the one for people who love music.
