David: Thanks for the great update. I bought a used LP12 a couple of years ago with plans to refurbish the unit with a complement of Linn-manufactured and third-party upgrades. I recently wasted a couple of weeks online and on the phone trying to figure out what was up with the so-called Linn dealers that advertised here in FL. I finally learned that the closest Linn dealer for me is in Atlanta (a 7-hour drive away) and that the state of FL apparently has no dealers at the moment (at least none that can work on my LP 12). I want to do a series of pieces on my upcoming Linn refurbishment journey. Lets chat when you get a chance.

I hear your pain. It was very frustrating for me to go through some "wilderness years" with Linn.

Not there. Then there. Then gone.

I'm glad that they're back, though I take your point about some of the retired products.

Yup, Linn Axis, gone. Linn Majek integrated, gone. Linn LK140 power amps, gone.

I haven't cared about them one bit since that day. They're dead to me.
