Thanks! My setup is P5 to Oppo 203, Directstream dac and two-way ATC active tower home speakers (Oppo to dac via s/pdif). Testing three other power cord brands, including the first one on your other love list, I find that beyond giving the P5 the best cord available, the cord to the Oppo has far more effect on what I hear than the one to the DSD. I had thought it would be the other way around.

That aside, given what I've been testing, it's been helpful to hear your reaction to Triode's newer models.

The American Digital on the PS Audio DAC and Player, the"regular" American on the PS Audio preamp and Heed phonostage, and the Silver Statement on the PS Audio amplifier.

Thanks. Which TWL power cords are you using on which components?

Thanks for reading. As with everyone's audio system, we create what we want to hear by matching this with that. With the TWL cords, for sure they did add more warmth and richness to the sound of my music compared to what I heard sans the TWL cords. So perhaps my system was on the leaner cooler side? Naturally, terminology can differ for each of us as we try to put into words what we experience and hear. For me this 'warmth' is more in terms of upper bass and lower midrange. More oomph. As to what is natural, well we each have our own interpretation of what natural might be as we all hear and interpret things differently. For me here it is something that sounds more 'right' than not, but then I have no idea what my music should sound like, only what I want it to sound like - that being more 'right' with the TWL cords.

Is there more to say than one gets "more" as one goes up the line, since there are some big price differences here? Pete and other reviewers describe his cords as "natural," while you call them "a bit on the warmer, richer side of things." Difference in terminology or actuality?
