Since I was unable to find any evidence of the company still being active I just jumped to conclusions that perhaps he was not longer viable. I still love the M200s but need to go green and so am moving away from amplifiers as heat sources.

Did you check in with Clayton Audio on that? I am currently working with Wilson Shen on an upgrade to my M300 monoblocks and he seems to be doing fine. The M300s offer about 10-20 percent more of everything you like about your M200s. You should try a pair.
