I hope you take a step in your " Capacitor Adventure " in near future.
Quite a real music world might be waiting for you, I believe !!
Good luck!!

Every time I listen to my system I am sending waves of gratitude in your direction. Between the cable recommendations and the rectifiers I have never heard such satisfying sound in my house.
You have a fine set of ears and a rare generous spirit.
Jeff's articles on you have made me a "fan". I tell everyone I know who is a music lover that they need to pay attention to what you say. You are firmly placed in my Audio Pantheon.
The rectifiers remind me of when I replaced indirectly heated rectifiers with directly heated ones in a previous tubed phono amp. All of the detail remains but this "roundness", for lack of a better term, is the very musical result. They are ridiculously good; I find it hard to believe a sand rectifier could make this kind of difference. I keep waiting for the "realization" to occur and the magic goes away (what can happen after a change is made and one's expectations can overwhelm the reality) but they have been in there for a couple of weeks and every time I listen I am amazed at the quality of the sound. It may well be these rectifiers have more impact than the cables or is it that the cables allow the rectifiers to deliver this sound?
One of these days I will have to insert some of the YAZAKI recommended capacitors!
Thank you, sir, sincerely. (not to neglect adding my thanks to Mr. Day for bringing you to our attention)
]]>I highly appreciate your additinal test for the rectifier. I have tried so many diodes, which has
the same type of sound like as fine vintage rectifier tubes. Fortunately, I could come across tthis diode, able to compared to such rectifier tubes. Thanks again, so encouraged !!

Tried them in my SALAS phono stage. Was using CREE SITs and there is no comparison. I have never heard such a difference in rectifiers. I did not think this was possible; would have thought a slight improvement if any at all based upon past experience. THANKS Mr. Yazaki for this recommendation. Most designers would have kept this to themselves. They might be expensive but they are worth every cent.

Sent from my iPad so excuse the tipos....
]]>Got some of the WE cable and the 8402 and have been pleased with the improvement I hear with my horns.
Now I must try that 24 gauge wire for the phono cartridge. Wondering if 8402 might make a good wire for Fostex T500s ...
Thanks and take care,
