Power to the people!
The quality of AC power has a huge effect on the performance of an audio system!
Most of you already know this. Some of you have gone to the expense of having a dedicated AC line installed for your audio system.
We've been experimenting with AC power a lot lately. We recently added some passive filtration into our Power Broker to get rid of DC problems and we have incorporated some other ideas in helping power cords reject the effects of high frequency interference including wifi signals all over your neighborhood.
This leads me to announce our newest product in development, WyWires Power Cord for the Apple Mac Mini.
How can a power cord possibly do anything to a computer? Surprisingly, this cord does a lot to improve audio performance including improvements in resolution, soundstage size, image focus, micro dynamics and overall instrument/vocal texture. I was hoping for a subtle improvement but I got much more.
At the computer end it a has a 2-prong C7 IEC plug and at the other - whatever you need depending on where you live. On the cord, there is a cylinder that contains a proprietary substance that dissipates high frequency interference before it infects the Mac Mini's power supply.
This Power Cord for Apple's Mac Mini will be available as of March 15th.
